CAPITA APPOINTED TO ADMINISTER AEW UK REIT
AEW UK REIT, which is managed by AEW UK Investment Management LLP (AEW UK), has appointed Capita Asset Services as fund administrator and company secretary.
Managing director of Capita’s specialist fund services business, Gordon Shaw, said: “We highly prize our long standing relationship with AEW UK. Capita is able to provide full fund administration, accounting and company secretarial services to support REITs, and with in-house tax experts and wide real estate management capabilities, is able to offer a comprehensive support service to all REIT managers. We have invested heavily in our systems and developing expertise in order to meet the various nuances that arise from supporting REITs operationally.”
